Camrin Schinkel is a painter based in Salisbury, Wiltshire, working primarily in watercolour, acrylic, gouache, and ink.

Her work explores a balance between expressive mark-making and more illustrative, fine-lined detail - a reflection of her varied approach to each medium. Often vibrant, her paintings range from dynamic acrylic compositions to delicate watercolour scenes enhanced by intricate fine-liner sketches.

Inspired by nature and the quiet beauty of everyday life, Camrin also finds deep meaning in the human form. Her figure paintings often aim to celebrate self-expression and body confidence.

Camrin completed a Foundation Diploma in Fine Art, before earning her BA in Fine Art from Winchester School of Art. Since graduating, she has continued to grow creatively while working in hospitality and, more recently, as a franchisee with ColourWheel Art Classes. Teaching adult beginners across a variety of mediums has not only helped refine her own techniques but has become a source of ongoing inspiration and creative energy.

Now establishing herself as an independent artist, Camrin is focused on developing her personal practice, building her brand, and working toward exhibiting in gallery spaces.
